Our star this week is Thomas for excellent effort and behaviour.
It’s been carnival time in Class 4 this week as we have been writing newspaper articles as if we were in Rio de Janeiro watching the samba schools perform. We have also been reporters interviewing the dancers involved.
We have had fun adding fractions and working out equivalent fractions, decimals and percentages.
In Geography, we have been comparing the weather in County Durham with the state of Rio de Janeiro.
In RE, we have spent time thinking about leaders and followers through a building activity.
On Friday, we had a very interesting visit from Isha Shakir as part of our world faith week. She spoke to us about her religion and played a game with us which got us to think more about what we think/understand about muslims. Thank you Isha!
