Friday Assemblies

Class 3 did a wonderful assembly all about Ancient Egypt.

The theme for Class 1 assembly was Mother's Day. The children described their mum, painted a picture of her and said a peom:

We love to squeeze bananas

We love to squeeze ripe plums

And when we feel sad

WE LOVE TO SQUEEZE OUR MUM.

The children also came up with a long list of jobs that mums do:

washing

cooking

feeding the family

ironing

shopping

changing nappies

reading stories

first aid

referee

taxi driver

gardener.

The Judges

"Strictly Come Dancing" came to St. Chad's this week. What a spectacular occasion it was. Fantastic costumes, exquisite foot work, ruthless comments and public humiliation for some. Above all it was GREAT, GREAT FUN for those taking part and surprise and pride from mum's and dad's. "Can't believe my son can dance like that"
