You will not believe how much we are missing you all! School feels very strange without seeing all of your beautiful smiles and hearing you chat and giggle with each other. We just want to give you all a big cuddle and hear all about the wonderful and creative things that you have been getting up to with your families. It has been very heart-warming to hear and see some of the amazing things you’ve been getting up to! Who knew we had such fantastic bakers and marathon walkers in our school? We are extremely proud of you all.
We hope that you are all feeling okay. We know that you will have lots of questions and worries – you have even have those funny butterflies in your tummy. It’s okay to be feeling like this as the world is a little topsy-turvy at the moment. The most important thing to remember is that you are not alone and there’s always someone to talk to. Please don’t be frightened to tell someone how you’re feeling or ask any questions you may have- it may help you to feel a little better.
In amongst all of this, however, there are some good things happening. As there is less air and car travel, the environment is getting a bit of a rest. Also, people are talking to each other more and are getting to spend some quality time with their families which they may not usually get. It’s also wonderful to see communities coming together and people offering to help each other.
Whilst our world in topsy-turvy, let’s take a moment to think about the things that never change. You are loved very much, both at home and at school. The sun will keep shining and the birds will keep on singing. God is always watching over all of you and lots of people are thinking of you in their prayers.
We will be here waiting for you all to come back to us and carry on learning, laughing and loving.
Until that time comes, stay safe with your families, keep praying for each other and remember… we miss you and we love you!
Lots of love and hugs,
all of the staff at St. Chad’s xxx
