This week, Class 2 has been competing in an outdoor adventure activities festival at Etherley Lane. They absolutely enjoyed learning outdoors and there was some fantastic displays of leadership amongst the children. In maths, we have been searching for 2D and 3D shapes in the school grounds, either 2D shapes on our school buildings or locating letters on a map that spells out different shapes. Again this week, we were very lucky to have the Year 5’s who read stories to us to model how to read with expression and how to use our voices to make stories interesting to the listener.
The star of the week is Jessica Walton who has displayed outstanding leadership skills during our orienteering activities. She did not leave anyone in her group behind and made sure everyone was ok and knew what they had to do. Well done Jessica and to all the children this week!
Have a lovely weekend and see you on Monday.
